Color Guard

Combining dance and ballet with traditional military silent drill, the UHS Color Guard program is a unique and exciting performance opportunity for any student. Students in the guard perform with the marching band in the fall, are encouraged to perform at the FBA Solo & Ensemble Festival, compete with the winter guard in the spring, and in May put on a recital and participate in the Prism Concert.

The University Winter Guard is a Scholastic A Guard, competing in the Paradigm Division of the Florida Federation of Color Guards Circuit (FFCC). The Winter Guard was the 2013 Scholastic AAA Bronze Medalist and the 2014 Scholastic AA Gold Medalist, placing first in the State of Florida in this division.
