These awards are given to the band with the highest score, regardless of class.

"Off the Field" Awards

We believe that what a band does off the field is even more important than what happens on the field. These awards recognize groups that demonstrate outstanding discipline, spirit, and creativity, regardless of on-field score.

• Creative Concept Award
  This is selected by the University Band Parent Council and awarded to the band with the most original show design.
• Professionalism Award
  This award is chosen by our alumni ambassador team and goes to the band that shows the most discipline and organization throughout the day.
• Sportsmanship Award
  This is selected by our alumni ambassador team and given to the band that shows the most support for other ensembles throughout the day.
• Fan Favorite Award
  This award is chosen through online voting by the crowd at the end of the show.
• Outstanding Member Award
  Directors can nominate an outstanding student for this award, and one of the participating performers will be selected.
